Under the seat there is the stereo controller box with a number of black cables out the end... one of them is the aux female connector for an MP3 player (or other device)... it has a black cap on it

How to connect laptop to Panasonic TV LCD TX-L42U2B

Laptop to TV hookup all depends on what the laptop has for output to a monitor and what the TV has for input. Your laptop should have a monitor output, a 15 pin female jack. You need a cable (male to male) with these 15 pin connectors at each end to hookup to a TV with a PC input jack. For the audio, use a 3.5mm stereo audio cable. Hookup from earphone out on the laptop to the TVs PC audio input jack. If the TV has no PC input jacks, there are other ways to connect. See this link:

I have a compaq presario sr1214nx. The front has 3 audio hookups in blue pink and green. Where do i hook my speakers to?

The green is usually the audio out (stereo), connect the speakers to this.
The other two will be for microphone in (pink) and blue aux in (stereo).
If you look closely at the connectors you should see symbols for these connections.

How to hookup an IPOD to a pioneer avh-p6500 car stereo

If your car stero has a stereo audio input connector then you can plug a cable in the headphone on the IPod and the other end of the cable into the stereo audio input on the car stereo.
If you don't have an stereo input on the car stereo then you can buy a FM transmitter that is powered by the car's cigarette socket, connect the IPod to the transmitter, switch on the car radio and tune it to the FM station that matches the FM transmitter.
You can now listen to your IPod from the car radio.

There should be a mini connector (Male) connection to 2 RCA (MALE) Connectors. You just hook the output of computer (Mini) plug to that then hookup your RCA connectors usually white and Red to the transmitter and it should work fine. Try the premium area if you need further assistance. Guru Jay

Connect audio components for recording Cassette to CD

Try this since you do not supply model numbers. If your receiver and CD have digital audio connector (coaxil or fiber) hook the receiver output to the cd input.

If you do not, see if there is a spare set of RCA jacks for output. If not, just hook up the cd player in the cassette jacks-there is always a cassette in and out-and hook your cd player to an auxillary input or use the cd player input.

Remeber though, cassettes have inherently more noise than cd so your cds will not sound like a pre-packed cd.

Auxillary option not available in menu

Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.
