Your clutch has worn out or exceeded the useful life and will need to be replaced, this isn't a hard repair if you have basic skills and tools. The repair should begin with Yamaha repair manual then read the section for clutch and you can judge for yourself if you can do it, if you do take lots of pix of everything you touch or remove as this will be of great value upon reassembly. If this is your first time repairing your scoot it will make you proud you did it yourself. Good Luck

How do I no if I have clutch problems

clutch problems ae indicated by slipping ( engine rpms rising but not going ant where), slipping may be a faulty clutch master cylinder, shuddering as you let the clutch out ( clutch plate covered with grease /oil ---OR--- faulty engine mounts. pedal to the floor is a problem in the hydraulics or a cable failure. A cable failed and jammed will also cause a slipping clutch
so to summerise ,if the clutch is slipping --check out the hydraulics and cables. If it is shuddering --check out the engine mounts. Basically if it starts to slip after being driven for a period of time then it will be the clutch pressure plate /clutch plate worn

Freelander clutch

check out the operation of the clutch system .IT is difficult to rationalise a hydraulic clutch because if it is slipping that means that the pressure plate is being held off and not fully engaging but it also means that when pressing on the clutch the there would be no problem changing gears . But if you have a cable clutch operation then it is possible that the cable is jamming inside the outer cover and holding the pressure plate off ( slipping) and gear problems. If it is cable then replace the cable first. If hydraulic then it may mean box out for a new clutch kit.

Clutch adjustment for clutch slipping

It's a hydraulic clutch, so you can only adjust the screwed on connection from the master cylinder to the clutch lever. No adjustment for slipping. You clutch is worn out if it's slipping

94 Pathfinder, Manual transmission slipping a tiny bit. I want to add Lucas Stop Slip. How do I do this. Theres no Dipstick to check levels of TRANS FLUIDS

Adding Stop slip to a manual transmission with not keep your clutch from slipping. Replace or adjust the clutch.

2000kia sophia clutch slips

If it's slipping it's near the end of its life and you'll have to change it. Make sure to inspect the rear main seal - most of the time a clutch slips because of wear but a rear main seal leak will allow oil to leak onto the disc and it'll slip. In either case you'll need a new clutch but if the seal is leaking it'll ruin the new one too.

My clutch is slipping on my 1993 toyota truck. Are there adjustments I can make myself. I am fairly handy, but not a car repair expert.

Sorry, there are no adjustments on your vehicle., The clutch is activated via hydraulic pressure. The master and slave cylinders are "self-adjusting". If the clutch is slipping, you are going to need to pull the trans and replace the clutch assembly. Changing the hydraulics will not help a slipping clutch at all.
