you have to take out the door ajar switch its in the door it works your interior lights and door ajar switch which is in the door and is hitched to the door latch

It could be the alternator or possibly a short somewhere. Make sure that there arent any lites staying on under the good or somewhere that could be draining your battery. When ya sit and idle..turn the wheel sharply to the left then the right..if it dies then a cable may intruding on your wiring.

This is a Common Problem On Chevy's. The easiest way is to get a New Wiper Motor and Install it. Very Easy to do and Cheaper than a Mechanic.
