Either you have a dead short in your wireing or your battery is not charging fully. Use a volt meter your battery will have 12 volts start the bike and it should read 13 plus then take it up to 2000 rpm above idle anyway it should read 14 plus. If you dont have these numbers then you have a stator or regulator problem or both. You may be geting a slight charge when running but not enough to keep the battery peaked out.

I am 5' 8" tall and I can't seem to kick out the

I'm like you, I want the kick stand all the way out before I let the weight of the bike over onto it. If you're having problems getting it all the way out, go to an aftermarket parts dealer and see if someone has a kickstand extension for it. It's a chrome plated device made of very heavy guage wire stock that bolts to your kick stand. It protrudes up and away from your kickstand so you can get your foot on it and push the kick stand out farther. Try Custom Chrome or Kuryakyn.

Starter could be jammed have you tried to pop start it? Are you getting power to the starter? Kill switch isnt on is it? Never should have left the dealer it was running when you took it there.

I bought a used harley sportster with out battery ,i put battery in but cables dont line up they are tight fit i turned them evey position ,but they dont line up

Cables on Sportsters are a fairly tight fit with the correct battery, but the do fit. Did you buy the correct battery for your bike? If it is, ensure you are putting the positive to positive and negative to negative. Like I said, "if" you have the correct battery, it may be tight, but they will hook up

1995 Harley Sportster won't turn over.

sounds like the battery has dropped a cell,it will still have power but not enough to turn the bike over properly, harley atarters use a lot of current to turn over so a slightly weak battery will cause all sorts of grief, hope this helps...cheers
