tks Tim, I beleive I actually have to take off the gas tank to get to my battery, so I therefore want to install some accessory link to the battery, so I won;t have to go throught this procedure gain if I ever want to add an electrical accessory...was hoping for an easy way around this process. Thanks, again for you help

Check your owners manual for location of your fuse box. You will probably find connections for accessories. If not make sure you use an inline fuse on the positive connection and then ground to the frame.....Good Luck and Nice Bike!

Hi, Tim again. Pull off your side covers you will find many things hiding behind them....fuse box etc. Also remove your seat....Tim

Throughout bearing failiure on my '01 1150 gs... how extensive is the repair?

it's not hard to do if you have the tools and torque wrench needed for the job. with the bike on it's center stand, remove the exhaust, rear wheel and then the lever giving access to the bearing. installation of the lever is the hard part. you must tighten and secure the lever bolts properly for safety (get a manual for tightening procedure and torque specs). bleeding the clutch is easy, ensure you use the right fluid.
