1997 kawasaki ninja ex250 wont get gas

clean those plugs and make sure you have good gas and no vacuum leaks ,

I would try charging the battery. Take it off and put it on a slow trickle charge overnight. Batteries usually only last 3-4 years if it is an acid battery.

sounds like you have a carb problem Jason,possibly probably your float level is set too low not allowing sufficient fuel to Venturi

Just a thought, if you are running ethanol fuel it will lower the bikes idle speed. If you run no ethanol fuel your idle speed will go up. Turn your idle screw to raise the idle . Hopefully , your problem is just that simple.

If the engine dies after you try to give it gas it could be your spark plug...this just happened to me.
