Hi, Anonymous and the usual suspects are:
1. Blown instrument fuse.
2. Faulty sending unit.
3. Faulty wiring between the sending unit and gauge.
4. Faulty ground or power connection.
5. Bad fuel gauge.

Head lights are dim on rough house 50.Put new one in was normal for 30 seconds and went dim

Hi, B you may have a faulty headlight ground or voltage regulator/rectifier for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. Does the low oil light also makes buzzing noise?

The light does not buzz, but if the system wants to warn you, it will give a warning light and a buzzer. If it comes to both it is really time you should fill oil. When the oil is low, the parts in the motor are not lubricated enough and the motor can become seriously damaged. So don't start the engine, before you filled correct and enough oil.

Where is the battery In a roughy house 50 scooter ?

The battery is in the floorboard. You should see a small section of the floorboard secured with a screw or screws. Once that cover is removed you can access the battery and fuse.

Where is the battery in a rough house 50 scooter ?

While I don't own a Roughhouse, I have owned a couple other Chinese made scooters. There is a very good chance the battery is located under the floorboard of the bike. I looked at a few photos of the scooter online ad it looks like there is a small door in the middle of the floorboard. I believe they like to put the batteries low on these bikes to help keep the center of gravity low.

Good luck.

Gas light stays on

First of course make sure there is enough gas in tank to cover the sensors!
Unplug the connector from the fuel pump - turn on ignition.
Is light still on? If so you have short in wiring.
If it goes out, either gas level is too low or you have problem with either of the level sensors.

With connector still off the pump, check the resistance of the sensors in the pump assembly. Measure between the Red/black to black/white and also the black/ to black/white - neither of these should meaure short and both should be about the same. If you find one has low resistance (or short circuit) it needs to be replaced.
