I need the camshafts bolt torque specs on 2003 PT Cruiser. I am planning to finish head gasket repair in the morning. Found head bolt specs but not camshafts...help

Get a Chiltons/Haynes manual that covers the year/make/model or your car. It has entire section on rebuilding the engine and will give you torque specs, camshaft R/R, etc. Hmmm Having to take a camshaft out to put in head bolts does not seem to be one of Chrysler's better ideas.

why dont you look in the service manual . hopefully for the sake of your engine heads you have a service manual because if you didnt torque the head bolts it the proper sequence and to the correct torque specs then you have trashed the brand new head gaskets and more than likely have warped the heads .

3 layer head gaskets torque to 22 ft/lb then 60°-65° then 60°-65°again.
2 layer head gasket torque to 18 ft/lb then 60°-65° then 60`-65° again

60 ft lbs and after all torque down do a 1/4 turn on all bolt again.

For specs like that I would call the parts counter at your local Chrsler Deal and they will be acurate and glade to help you.

Use a torque wrench to tighten the bolts in the following order:

1. Tighten all center bolts to 34 Nm (25 ft.-lbs.).
   
2. Tighten the four corner bolts to 27 Nm (20 ft.-lbs.).
   
3. Tighten all center bolts to 68 Nm (50 ft.-lbs.).
   
4. Tighten the four corner bolts to 47 Nm (35 ft.-lbs.).
   
5. Retighten all bolts a second time to the same specifications in step 4 to double-check torque.
   
6. Finish by tightening all bolts an additional 1/4 turn.
