As this is a 4 stroke bike, it will take 4 stroke motorbike oil, you can buy this from any good garage

SOURCE: Repsol MOTO Gasoline Motor OIl,4T,Sintetico synthetic blend 10W40

Repsol Moto 4T Sintetico Synthetic Oil - 10W40

Synthetic blend lubricant with high thermal stability, designed to meet the needs of the most technologically advanced 4-stroke motorcycle engines.

  • Excellent starting and lubrication in cold conditions due to its low viscosity.
  • Meets JASO MA API SJ requirements.
Its fine to change your oil with synthetic, Just be sure that you use synthetic from now on... I don't think its advisable to switch back to regular oil after using synthetic.

SOURCE: how much oil does a 2004 honda shadow aero 750

it takes between 3-4 quarts but that model has a dip stick on the oil cap so use it to check as you fill, also make sure to only use motorcycle oil,car oils break down to fast and were not designed for motorcycle use, honda makes a very good oil, i would use a 10w-40 for cold weather and 20w-50 for hot weather, also i would suggest a synthetic oil, it will shift easier and make those movable parts last allot longer. ( preventative maintenance )

What kind of oil should i use?

Use a oil that has a JASO rating, all major brands have that rating (ie Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha or other oil designed for motorcycles.) Use a 10w40 is a good all around oil for most climates. I hope this helps you.

How much oil does my honda aero take and wat kind

It takes between 3 and 4 quarts. Use the dipstick and be careful not to over fill. Use only a JASO MA certified motorcycle oil . 10w-40 for cold climate and 20w-50 for warm weather and long distance riding. Do not use any oil that says Energy Conserving on the label. Synthetic oil will help your bike run cooler and shift easier.
