If its flooding, it is likely a spark problem especially if its intermittent. Plug might be the problem if youre lucky.

You need to pressure test the carb, if the needle is leaking you will never get to run well, if you have fitted a new rubber tipped needle and it still leaks you will have to replace the carb, the later carb was a Zama rather than the Walbro, it made the saw run so much better.

Check that the hose from the gas tank is working clear. And that the filter is unclogged in the tank. Also check for any leaks in the hose.

Check the spark plug for fire. Connect it to the spark plug wire and clamp the plug thread to ground away from the gas fumes. Then pull the crank . It should have a good spark . If not try another spark plug.
If a known working spark plug does not work, then it is either your coil or a spark related issue.

SOURCE: Husqvarna 123L, won't start. Replaced carb, sp plug, ign module.

are you getting fuel? is the plug wet after cranking a few times and then pulling plug? check the fuel filter.and fuel line inside of tank, the line could be broken or filter is plugged inside of tank, this is usually the problem when the unit is old

SOURCE: I have a No.359 Won't stay running, I put new

The carb screws have anti tamper sleeves on ( one red one white ) to adjust the screws you need to draw the caps back, you can do this with a small self tapping screw, screw it into the centre of the cap, when it hits the adjuster underneath the cap will draw back as you carry on screwing it in, only pull the cap back far enough ( approx half way ) you can then remove the screw and insert a 2mm flat blade screw driver through the centre of the cap, the adjuster underneath will now turn, the reason not to take the can right off is because the screws are only 2mm across, and it is near impossible to adjust the saw whilst it is running.

Good day guys I just want to find out what is the firing order for a Kawasaki Ninja Zx9R B1 1995 model

Sitting on the bike, the LEFT end is Cylinder number One and the RIGHT end is number Four. The Firing Order is 1,2,4,3. The coil packs fire repeatedly as left, right, left, right so you get that sequence.

Left hand cylinder wont fire right hand side fires no problem

Could be one of the carbs playing up. Maybe a blocked or restricted jet.

08 can-am has fire won't start

For my 2 cents it takes air, fuel and spark for fire to exist, timing could be off,I would make sure all fuel lines were clear, check for water or bad gas, clean air filter, some jet in carb may be stopped up. Good Luck

Husqvarna 372xp won't start... Mysterious

I recently bought a brand new 372XP and spent the first day trying to start it as per the instruction manual with no success, never even fired once. Removed the plug to find plenty of fuel and that the plug has a good spark. Left it until the next day mainly to allow my arm to recover (& scour the internet for clues). I found a forum that said not to use the decompressor and sure enough without the use of the decompressor button it fired first go with the choke on then I reset the choke & it ran properly on the second pull. The decompressor button can be reset with fine nosed pliers or removal of the top cover by undoing three screws. Good luck it's a great saw once you know how to start it.

Fuel starvation, replace the fuel filter in the tank, check the fuel hose up to the carb, pay special attention to where it leaves the tank as they do perish, failing this then there is dirt in the carb.

You are correct. Too high a fuel to oil ratio will not asallow the engine to run. Try using a fresh mixture of the correct ratio. It may take a lot of pulls on the starter until the old fuel is purged from the carby.

I have husk 359 new plug clean carb fires but will not stay running

This year alone we have replaced 17 carbs,,all warranty,,for this model alone do to the power valve failing.Inside the powervalve{valve jet} there is a very small disc that breaks apart thus not allowing the fuel to flow properly iside the carb.I would contact your local saw dealer and push for a warranty on your carb even if it's still not under warranty because the factory is well aware of this problem. If your carb has # 199 stamped on the side of it push for a replacement.
