WE HAVE LOST THE KEYS FOR ONE OF OUR AX 100'S. SO WE REPLACED THE IGNITION AND IT'S 100% BUT, THE NEW KEY DOESN'T WORK ON THE PETROL CAP. HOW WOULD ONE OPEN THE CAP WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE TANK AND WITHOUT HAVING TO GET A LOCKSMITH?

You could try calling Suzuki dealership with chassis / frame number they should be able to source replacement key.

Most lock smiths can cut replacement keys for you. All you need to do is remove the ignition switch and they will use that. All the locks should use the same key. Be sure to have a spare cut.

Get your key code off your helmet lock. Check your owners manual in case the original sales man was nice enough to write it down. Call original dealer just in case they are nice enough to keep a record of the key code.

Typically, there is a ring that screws onto the front of the switch which mounts to the holder from the back. Remove the ring, the switch falls out. I dont know if yours is "typical", however.

Better yet, take your serial number to your Suzuki dealer, ahd he or she can cut you a key based on that number. For that matter, so to can a good locksmith. No need to remove the switch.
