SOURCE: how to fill the front suspension on a ktm exc 2001

If you get the sevice manual or contact a dealer to get the correct oil amount for your bike, they need to know the model and year, you have to have the forks off the bike. take the fork caps off, take the springs out compress the upper fork tube all the way and add the specified oil. if they also give you the measured amount from the top that's the best way to get both fork oil levels exact. there is a special tool that you set the oil level in millimeters and it sucks out the oil to the right level, but before you do that step after adding the oil always pull and push on the cartage rod several times to remove air from the cartage tube. you will hear the air coming out and you will feel the changes in the cartage rod as the cartage tube fills up with oil and the air is removed.
something i'm confussed on though is if you replaced a seal you would have had to brake down the fork to replace it. you would have poored the oil into a container, cleaned all the internal parts, and used a fork seal driver to install the new seal. part of your question asks where do i put the oil in? thats in the open end of the fork after you have taken off the fork cap. It sounds to me like you only replaced the dust seal on one fork. that is not going to fix your leaking fork. you need to replace the oil seal thats pressed inside of the top fork tube.

SOURCE: ktm output shaft oil seal

if you are lucky there is a clip behind the front sprocket remove both then pop the seal out drain gear box oil first though. if not which i think is most probable the engine will need splitting if you are good with spanners it is quite easy being a 2 stroke .in brief remove engine remove bore and carb in one lump remove sprocket gear lever split g-box .seal up push old seal out, from outside in, fit new then reverse prosses. a good manual will help.

My ktm exc is losing power and cutting out does any know what it could be

Give the bike a proper service and check the coils. The service should include oil and air filters and replacing the oil and spark plug. 125 cc motorbikes tend to have a very hard life, they are generally abused by novices and not looked after, this will cause reliability problems. But, a good service will mean you have a standard from which to work, also you will get to know your machine and find where it is likely to go wrong in the future before it actually does.

What is the fuel mixture for a 2002 KTM 300 EXC 2 stroke? Thanks

WIth Shell v-power and your favourite 2-stroke oil, you could go 50:1 (that's from my dealer). I have been running 50:1 since my 2002 300 EXC has been new, always use new mix for every ride, and drain whatever leftover is in the tank every two weeks.

Does anyone have experience with KTM 380 exc power bands? I need to confirm the distance it is meant to travel (full Length)

Sorry you may need to repost this question, perhaps you mean chain?

A power band is an area on a graph of power v rpm where the engine produces its best power for the engine speed. it is not a physical object.

I have lost the torque on my ktm exc 200 and its rpm is very high what could it be

Sounds like the clutch has gone out. Pick up a manual on this bike and see if it can be adjusted. I don't think it can though. You can look to spend around $150 on parts plus labor. Hope this helps. Good luck.

2005 450 exc cuts out when you nail the throttle

With the information you gave me, sounds like it's too rich on your main jet. Also, tweek the air screw to see if this helps the transition.
