Hi there!

You can adjust the idle knob on the carburetor to at least 1,100 rpm. If it still knocks out, you need to clean the carbs. Clean the jets using compressed air and put it all back. Clean your spark plugs or better, replace them if they're already old. This will not only make a cleaner burn but ensure maximized horsepower.

Hope this helps

98/88 delta oldsmoble cuts off while driving what could it be

The warning lights on the dash will come on when the engine dies.
If it dies and starts up like you turned the key it could be a relay or other electrical problem. May be tough to find if you can't test components while it is not starting.
I assume the check engine light is not on when the engine is running.

98 gsxr cuts out around eight g when accelerating but fine in N

Sounds like you're running out of fuel. It doesn't take much power (ie, fuel) to rev it in neutral, which might explain why it does that fine but falls over under load. Checked your fuel pressure/pump/filter?

Car keeps dying

Get someone to change your alternator just a cheap one from the wreckers. or if you don't want it to happen again get a reconditioned one. They are easy to change over.
