I ordered a performance and mpg chip and I need to know were the iat sensor is located so I can hook it up. Can you please help me as know one else has.Is 2 of the 5 prongs on my air flow sensor behind air filter possibly a hookup for the iat sensor?
Yes. That is exactly it. The Air Intake Temp Sensor is built into the Mass Air Flow Sensor on the Air Filter Box. Below is a picture...
I personally have not connected one of these Chips to a Tahoe...What I can provide you with, is the Connector Diagram so you know exactly whalocating the iat sensor on a chevy tahoe 2008 - ce630fe.jpg need to Splice in to. See below...
I hope this helps you. If you have any more questions or need any more diagrams, please don't hesisitate to ask...Thanks again, JShreader.
Sure...I saved them to a .pdf and uploaded them to my storage box. You can get them by clicking HERE. If there is anything else I can help you with, just let me know...Thanks...JShreader!
No Problem. Ask as many questions as you need...
NO!! DO NOT CUT D and E. E is for the Low Reference. The IAT Wires are as follows...
C (the middle pin) = IAT Ground
D (left of center) = IAT Signal
Personally...I wouldn't cut. I would attach metal pin ends to the Wires, and stab them into the back of the Connector. Cutting could be costly.
Let me know if this helps...If you have any more questions or need any more diagrams, please don't hesisitate to ask...Thanks again, JShreader!
You better betchya! I'll be around here somewhere...Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Thanks...JShreader!
