Yes. That is exactly it. The Air Intake Temp Sensor is built into the Mass Air Flow Sensor on the Air Filter Box. Below is a picture...

No Problem. Ask as many questions as you need...

NO!! DO NOT CUT D and E. E is for the Low Reference. The IAT Wires are as follows...

C (the middle pin) = IAT Ground
D (left of center) = IAT Signal

Personally...I wouldn't cut. I would attach metal pin ends to the Wires, and stab them into the back of the Connector. Cutting could be costly.

Let me know if this helps...If you have any more questions or need any more diagrams, please don't hesisitate to ask...Thanks again, JShreader!

I need the wiring diagram for the IAT Sensor in my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. I nned it to hook up one of those cheap little "chips" just to see how it works before I spend $ 300 for a Superchip.

Wouldn't you be better to spend $300 on tools ,reference material,
test equipment or a code reader, than that nonsense & possibly
ruin your vehicle & most certainly accomplish nothing

Learn how vehicles work & how to diagnose them & in 20 years
you can play with a race car or something

Locating the iat sensor on a 2003 dodge 5.9

The IAT sensor is along the intake tube before the throttle body. If your planing to buy the performance chip from EBAY or any other place, save your money. You can go to Radio shack and it will cost you less then $3.00 for the resistor needed to make your own "performance Chip" IF you like you can use and 10K ohm potentiometer wire it through to the IAT sensor wire harness so you can adjust your timing for the type of fuel you want to use or how much performance you want out of your engine. Here is a link to the installation of the resistors and the different resistor's you can use or like me use a Potentiometer. Note if the timing is to high on hot days, the knock sensor may trigger and the engine will power down 15% till next start up. Good luck and hope this helps. http://kingenterprises.net/IAT-Timing-Tricker.htm

Cnt find iat sensor on 2005 chevy cobalt ss supercharged

The IAT sensor is most of the time located along the intake tube right after Between the throttle body and MAP sensor. Just follow your air intake tube from your air filter housing to the Throttle body.
Good luck.
