SOURCE: Yamaha banshee. Just rebuilt top

Check the plug color to see if it is normal. I would put new spark plug caps and new spark plugs on the machine and see if that helps . From what you describe , if the spark plug caps do not work , you will probably have to either , adjust your air screw setting or change your pilot jets up one size to compensate for the other changes.

SOURCE: It doesnt matter what gear,

May be running lean, less fuel demand at lower rpms, needs more fuel at higher rpms.

SOURCE: chokes out at 8500 rpm

try running some SEAFOAM gas treatment through it. Might take a few tank but it should clean out the carbs

I have a 2000 blazer that bogs down at high rpms what could the problem be?

if it is driveable, but seems to cut out, and bog down at sporatic times, and speeds then odds are it's the distributor. (the electical flow is intermittent when it should be constant) if it only happens at higher rpm then it could be the cam position or crank position sensor

Stihl 390 chainsaw is bogging out on and off especially whent i start cutting

its bogging down because there is ether fuel starvation going on or the chain is really dull.. Could be a clogged fuel filter which is located in the fuel tank. The carb may only need an adjustment but this has to be done at a shop with a tachomenter. Setting the high wide open throttle rpms wrong will cause a lean mixture and the rpms will exceed the top speed and will seize the piston to the cylinder wall. Sharpen the chain at a shop and then try it.

Ttr90 bogs down at high rpms

I have a ttr 90 that idles well but bogs down at full throttle. Carb is clean and has new pilot and main jets. Seems to run slightly better with intake off. Which leads me to believe the mixture is rich. No adjustment on carb. Stumped?

My honda bogs down, then pick back up, consistently

Hopefully the fuel filter. If you floor it and it has a delay or it won't reach high RPMs it's most likely the cause.

My integra bogs down at higher rpms

First run a tank of a strong fuel system cleaner like BG-44K. If that doesn't help, clean the throttle body. If that doesn't help, take it to a mechanic.
