SOURCE: broken kick starter gear

No other gear set available to my knowledge. The correct set of gears should be able to handle an extra 50cc. The head gasket and cylinder gasket should also be the same. If they arn't, the larger gaskets would come with the kit.

SOURCE: I have a 1999 honda valkyrie interstate. it is

I would change the plugs and the air filter. Also I would put a full can of Techron or Seafoam in the gas tank and ride it to see if it clears up. If these bikes sit very long the slow jets in the carbs can partially or fully clog resulting in rough running. If the bike sits for long periods over 2 months I would also use a fuel stabilizer such as Seafoam or Stabil. Make sure when adding a fuel stabilizer that the bike runs long enough to get the additive in the carbs.

Stock size for the slow jet is 35. Some guys put in 38's to make them less prone to getting plugged. I would say that you still have gunk in the slow jets. Also turn the pilot screws out 2 1/4turns. If the exhaust pops and you have no exhaust or vacuum leaks turn the pilot screws in 1/4 turn at a time till it goes away.

Did you change the plugs and the air filter? How about checking and or replacing the vacuum lines?

You might try a full bottle of Techron fuel system cleaner in a tank of gas. It may clear the problem up.

I had to clean the jets on my 1999 I/S twice and it's not a fun job.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: what size jet would i need if ive got a 70cc big

I believe the standard starting place is to go 2 jet sizes bigger, but I would check with the manufacturer of the big bore kit to make sure. Hope this helps

Hello, anyone have the correct fork fluid amount for a 1998 Honda Valkyrie available? Many thanks. I believe one leg holds more then the other.

Just drain each leg and replace the same amount that you drain from each leg. This only works if the legs are not leaking.
