Question about 2001 Honda Vigor FX 650

Honda 650 2002, starting problem

Just bought a honda vigor 2002 model, but it seems to have a starting problem, takes ages for it to fire up, today took nearly 10 minutes for it to kick in, is this a common problem with this bike, can you please help

Yes this is a common problem with bikes having dirty spark plugs and poor fuel quality. What you do is to remove the plugs, clean it well.. or better, replace it with a new one. Then if it still doesnt start, pull the choke knob for a while. start it.. if it still doesnt start. Open the carbs to check if there are any dirt blocking the jets. Blow the holes with compressed air. Assemble and replace it back. Start. if it still doesnt work, check for the cable, make sure it has current firing to the spark plug.

The list in my Acura for cold starts is:
* Low battery
* Faulty cold start injector
* Injectors leaking

My xr 250 1991 starts sometimes but wont rev out but then when it stops it takes ages to start and back fires trying to start after i have kicked it for a while and may not start at all?
Clean your carb, tank and fuel valve. When these get gummed up from old fuel, it causes these problems.

What is the meaning of 98 Honda Civic error codes P0300 P0303 P0304? Engine will not start, does not seem to fire.
P0300 indicates that there is multiple miss fire in the ignition system. P0303 and p0304 indicates the miss fire is in cylinder #3 and #4. Replace the spark plug, and wire set, and rotor and cap if there is one. Can not remember if there are coil packs on the civic, the age thing. change the fuel filter and clean out the fuel injectors with fuel injector cleaner for the next 3 full ups. When the spark plugs are removed, inspect them for condition, if there clean or dirty with carbon build up. which would indicate how the engine is running. Keep me posted and drive safe.

2001 Honda Vigor FX 650 only runs with the choke on After starting my FX650 I need to use the choke very, very long. Still, after a ride of 4 km, it can not idle without 1/2 choke. Is that normal for FX650? After another 5 min. idling on 1/2 choke it will idle without choke at 1500 revs. What must be the size of the pilot jet? What must be the liquid level in the float chamber?
