Hey all... My 2005 Honda cbr600rr sat in the garage for about 2 weeks due to bad weather. It started up right away. I went for a ride, parked , turned the bike off... Came back out tried to start and all I heard was a clicking sound coming from the back of the seat and bike wouldn't start. I put the tricky charger on it, waited for it to be charged (battery was connected to the bike). It started up right away. I shut it off then the same clicking noise would happen and bike will not start.

SOURCE: bike has new battery and

You should start by checking if its charging.
put a volt meter across the battery, it should read roughly 12v
then start the bike and it should rise to 14v
much more than this can blow bulbs and boil batteries

SOURCE: 883 want turn over, all lights on as normal just clicking sound.

Check the battery connections. If they're loose, this may be the problem.

Honda CBR600RR. While riding my bike the end of the clutch slave lever broke. It was still running, I shut it off, and replaced it, but now it cranks and will not start.

The engine only needs three things to run.

Fuel
A spark at the right time
Compression

Start with the basics. Check you have fuel flow. It is fuel injected, so check the fuel pump is working.

Remove the plugs and see if they are wet and see if they spark.

In the circumstances, you can probably assume it has compression, because it was running.

And here is one thing to throw you a curve ball!

If your headlight fuse is either absent or blown, your bike won't start.

Rough Idling, won't rev in park. 2005 Pilot

Water in distributer cap... Old spark plug wires with water in them...

Moisture can cause a lot of problems.... try drying out all the ignition parts you can. then re start and see if problem goes away. Hood up on a hot sunny day can do wonders!
