I live in a small town with big probblem i have a 650 vstar custum .never had problem with it befor . went to ride hard to start . 2 days latter same problem, then next time no fire both coil and plugs dead- iwas told it was my cdi igniter box .then regulater / rectifire - then pick up moudel- i know some basic abought bikes . the reg. is part of my charging / what is the other half they call rectifire is that part of my fireing problem. any way i bought a cdi igniter box a dyna 3000 - still no fire-changed plug-and fues- battery fully charged . still no fire is there any body that can help me / i have to drive out of town to get help my town to small ive been trying to figger it out for 3 month thank you for any info, that you can give, if you know the problem please give me an i deal what that part dose and abought were it at ,thanks again verry desp,
I can give you a little help, the rectifier is part of the charging system. it converts110volt from your alt. to 12 volts. it sounds like you have covered all the ign. possibiltys look for something simple ,like bad connections broken wires ect.

the part about the rectifier was very heip helpful.the only thing i bought was a cdi box/ plugs/ fuses / what other parts control my fireing . i have checked my connection on wires . thank you
