Ok fuel fill lines are the 2 lines between carbs 1 n 2 and 3 n 4 toward the rear of the bike the 2 hoses coming out just in front of them are float bowl overflows that just get criss crossed over the carbs and ran thru the little holders on the frame. the only vacuum line is coming out of the side of carb 4, this line goes to the nipple on the petcock facing away from the knob. as for the fill lines the 1 between 1 n 2 goes to the nipple facing the rear of the bike and 3 n 4 goes to the 1 facing the front of the bike. hope this helps here is a link for a free service manual download. http://www.files.michaelmcmahon.org/1988-1997-GSX600-750-1100F-R.pdf try using www.katriders.com it is a lot more helpful than this site for katana issues.

Where the fuel hoses go

If you have a petcock below the tank with a reserve switch, you should have two lines. The smaller one is a vacuum line that goes to the carbs. The other is the fuel line. The vacuum line is important, as without it the petcock will not flow fuel. The presence of a vacuum opens a pneumatically operated valve in the petcock allowing fuel to flow. There should be a nub on the middle of one of the carbs to connect the vacuum line to. The fuel line goes to a fuel rail that feeds all the carbs.

Vacumm hose on far right carb not connected,cant find where it go

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Offhand on most bikes including Kawasakis, hoses would be connected at:
  • bottom - for drain, ends down, not connected to anything;
  • mid - overflow, slightly bigger, would lead down, not connected to anything;
  • front of carb or on the rubber connector to intake manifold - either carb balancer or vacuum, should go to next carb or a common vacuum line; or
  • should go to the fuel valve.
Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
