SOURCE: what is number parts turn signal module dyna low

Ok, the part number for the turn signal unit that I have is 68537-89G. I think they still use the same unit today. The "G" is the "update" of the part. Each time they update the part, they go up one letter. As with all H-D parts, the last two digits, i.e. "-89", indicates the year that the part was first adapted and put into use. The "-89" means it was put into use in 1989 and it has been modified at least seven times since. I hope this helps.

Good Luck
Steve

I have a 2001 Dyna Low Rider, ever since I put it on the battery tender it just clicks when I try to start it, what could be the problem?

A Battery Tender will not charge a battery. They will maintain a "Charged" battery. Typically, if you put it on a low battery it will stay low of charge. Try cleaning the battery terminals and charge the battery, then turn the Battery Tender on.

How do you change a voltage regulator for a 2002 harley davison FXDL

The voltage regulator bolts onto the frame, usually on the two downtubes of the front of the frame. It has one two pigtail and then a larger gauge single long wire. The pig tail plugs into the crankcase near the end of the oil filter. It may have a clip that holds it in. Loosen the nut on the clip and unplug the pigatail. Mount the new regulator to the frame where the old one came off. The regulator must have a good ground connection between it and the frame. Most mechanics put a "star type lockwasher" between the frame and the regulator. The teeth on the star lockwasher bite into the frame and the regulator insuring a good ground. The long wire is routed along the frame back and up to the positive side of the battery. There is no need to polarize anything, just put the new one on and that's it.

I have an '09' FXDL that won't start. The battery has been tested and is fine. When you thumb the starter all it does is either clunk or chatter, worked fine last Oct. and has been sitting in the house...

You didn't mention whether or not you had a battery charger on the battery. Take your battery out and take it to an auto parts house and have it tested. If the battery test good and is charged, your bike should start. If not, repost and we'll move to something else.

If you're going to push your bike, why would you put the transmission in gear? But since you are the reason it pushes hard is because it's either not releasing completely or there is too much oil in the primary getting in between the plates and putting drag on the plates.
