What year? what country? sounds like suzuki G16b engine. is it? or 2.0L?
The reasons are the same basically for G16 or the 2.0L
Both engines have ECU.
Both need good fuses to power ECU and coils.
Both engines need working CMP.
my guess is this is a distributor engien G16b (YOU SAND COIL NOT COILS.)
1: fuses, test the fuses relate to ECM/PCM (3 fuses)
CEL LAMP MUST BE ON KEY ON OR ECU HAS NO POWER.
2: g16B( CRANK FOR 5 seconds), with scan tool connected.
A $50 tool that is indispensable.
P0355 or P340 DTC , bingo, no spark.
or while cranking RPM is dead at 0 RPM.
if all that passes, then check the coil signals. (@ minus term)
The coil has an ignitor in the dizzy and both can go bad.
recap.
power 12v to ECU
CMP working
ECu sees CMP and sends spark to dizzy ignitor.
Ignitor , drives coil, coil makes spark ,engine runs.

SOURCE: SUZUKI VITARA 2.0 V6 PETROL ENGINE

I suggest either a "Haynes" or "Chilton" repair manual. They are both very informative concerning complete engine tear down.

My suzuki grand vitara automatic exit has refused to start. The nozzles are injecting the petrol but the coils are not igniting .the coils aren't faulty. What other item could be faulty.

Check the fuse for the coil. Look at this website for more information. Try new spark plugs. *Be Careful*. Only change One Spark Plug at a time.

One of my ignition coils of my suzuki grand vitara has overheated and burnt out. why

Also check plug and wire, if not coil on plug , as a weak wire or worn plug can cause premature failure of coils .

What is a control module?

cars have many , control modules, most are microcomputer based.
the PCM on the Forenza runs the engine, EFI
spark and fuel and transmission shifting.
can be lots of things,
lost spark
check all fuse first, that means test them if they look good.
second, is use a scan tool to see why it dont start..(spark dead? and why)
there is no distributor on a 06. !
but there are 4 engines, used, not posting which engine, makes help near impossible.
most cars, 06, suzuki, usa , have a single coil pack
it has 4 coils inside ,one for each cylinder.
so are all 4 coils dead? is that it?
spark leaves the coil pack it never has sparking going it to it.
the coil if fired from the PCM
the PCM fires the coil with and ignitor.
the PCM fires the igniter if the CMP and CKP sensors work.

see coil pack below?
if all 4 are dead, we scan it after fuse checks. always....

I have a suzuki vitara and fuel is available in the fuel rail but fuel not injected into cabi for burning

old post, im doing only no answer posts. my bag.
i bet its fixed and you didnt post back.
what country
what displacement engine. 1.6L 2.0L
i guess v16 means 16v or valves. or is that a v6 , 6 cylinders.
my answer, can not be any good, with out facts.
but did you use a scan tool cranking to see if you get
DTCs. if not why non, if yes, what were they.?

the coil has spark but did all spark plugs wires have spark.
using a fresh test spark plug?
the ECU cuts fuel if it THINKS spark is bad.
even if GOOD !!!!

How do i check the compression in my 2007 suzuki grand vitara

old post
just like all cars.
with a compression gauge.
but not all gauges, work , only the long hose screw in type work
never the V8 style. short, rubber tips, (fail)

if how means, what is the procedure,
well that is the same for all EFI cars. (and safty steps)
you didnt state the engine type, size?
but most suzuki run 170psi min.cold or 185 hot.

the 12 steps (1.6L)
http://www.fixkick.com/compressiontest.html

if you want, the FSM covers this.
or at
alldata dot com

safety:
keep in mind if you let the injector squirt fuel and spark is enabled too , you invite danger to you .
A pro defeats the fuel buy killing the fuel pump.
I defeat both, spark an fuel then do the compression tests.
the spark can hit 100,000 volts open circuit and if it reaches out
to you, that can cause Pain or worse.

most GV have , COPS, Coil over plugs
fues 39 IG-COIL fuse kills the COPS.
and it think sill allows cranking. via engine bay fuse 2.

so pull IG-coil in the cab, next to left toes, for max safety.

No power to the spark plugs

Check first the wire connections to your ignition unit. Are they properly plugged? If all wires are good, try to measure the voltage from one of the wires to the ignition unit while the ignition key is in "on" position. If there's no voltage, have someone check your ECM. If there's a good voltage reading, try replacing your ignition unit with a good one.

My suzuki vitara has check engine light on and is ok for water and i put oil into it as seemed bit low, but it wont start at all. pls help

Check if there's a spark in the cable going to the distributor. If there's none then you may have a problem in the ignition system components. A defective air flow sensor can also cause a no start. If spark is present, you may want to visit the fuel system of your car.
