If you put the key into the helmet lock (#1) and turn the opposite way, it will unlock the seat from the rear latch (#7) so simply tip it forward to get it out. see pic.

Will 2000 honda vfr800 calipers fit ?

Try braided brake lines and sintered pads or a pad with a high % of copper in them. This will make a difference.

Changing callipers is possible not sure if the VFR ones are a bolt on mod - id go the other way first.

Braided lines will cost you about $120 fronts only and the pads will be about 45-55$

How do i change vfr800 indicator bulbs

if you are having issues getting indicators replaced for a vfr800, here is a solution. On the inside of where the light sits, on the faring there is a plastic cover (triangle in shape) that pops out but rotates on the plastic stud on the top. Reach inside and rotate the plastic light housing anti clockwise. Remove the housing and then the globe. Reverse the action to replace.

Your rear wheel is mounted on an offset cam. Part #6http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2004-honda-vfr800-interceptor-interceptor-abs/o/m2792#sch303670 Loosen the bolt on the back of the wheel/cam/bearing holder at the back of the swing arm.Part #16 http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2004-honda-vfr800-interceptor-interceptor-abs/o/m2792#sch303667 Use tools Part # 15 and 7or 6 (whichever fits the circumference of the cam) together to rotate the bearing cam until the chain has approximately 1 and 1/2 inches of slack from the top to the bottom of its movement in the middle of the chain slack. Then retighten the bolt on the back of the swing arm. Happy Riding
