How to remove seat from 1999 VFR800

Try braided brake lines and sintered pads or a pad with a high % of copper in them. This will make a difference.

Changing callipers is possible not sure if the VFR ones are a bolt on mod - id go the other way first.

Braided lines will cost you about $120 fronts only and the pads will be about 45-55$

if you are having issues getting indicators replaced for a vfr800, here is a solution. On the inside of where the light sits, on the faring there is a plastic cover (triangle in shape) that pops out but rotates on the plastic stud on the top. Reach inside and rotate the plastic light housing anti clockwise. Remove the housing and then the globe. Reverse the action to replace.

Your rear wheel is mounted on an offset cam. Then retighten the bolt on the back of the swing arm. Happy Riding

look in the resevoir, or wait till cool, and remove the radiator cap, just like a car.
