When i turn the ignition on sometimes the electric stop working thats when you get the intermittent fault but before you start the bike up all the electric are working fine, when the bike is running the rev counter is all over the place and also the turn signal's and side light's are dim.
Ok sounds like a battery/electrical fault. firstly check all connections to battery. does the battery go flat, have you a volt meter to check the battery voltage. if thats fine we'll move on to the alternator output / rectifier, let me know

I had the same problem. It was a blown fuse located right in front of the battery.

Check that the clutch is in, kick stand up, and neutral light ablaze. Then try your start button. When you had it running and hit the button, the starter engaged at a slower speed then the bike engine was turning, which led to the stall. The stall means your starter works. If the starter works when the engine is running then it is wiring. Check your kick stand wiring along with the clutch wires which plug in on the handlle bar or where the clutch cable enters the engine.

There is also a safety switch on the clutch lever that could give the same symptoms.
Another thing to check is the fuse block that has a starter relay built in (hidden) above the fuse compartment. My D5 has the same symptoms and this is the problem. If I keep the starter button depressed for some seconds the relay operates and bike starts.
