Ok sounds like a battery/electrical fault. firstly check all connections to battery. does the battery go flat, have you a volt meter to check the battery voltage. if thats fine we'll move on to the alternator output / rectifier, let me know

SOURCE: Fault with electric start on my Suzuki GSF 250 Bandit

Check that the clutch is in, kick stand up, and neutral light ablaze. Then try your start button. When you had it running and hit the button, the starter engaged at a slower speed then the bike engine was turning, which led to the stall. The stall means your starter works. If the starter works when the engine is running then it is wiring. Check your kick stand wiring along with the clutch wires which plug in on the handlle bar or where the clutch cable enters the engine.

SOURCE: Starting fault

There is also a safety switch on the clutch lever that could give the same symptoms.
Another thing to check is the fuse block that has a starter relay built in (hidden) above the fuse compartment. My D5 has the same symptoms and this is the problem. If I keep the starter button depressed for some seconds the relay operates and bike starts.

I Think the DR gets oil to the rockers using an external line. Look for 3/16 line with banjo style fitting on the head or rocker box. the bolt for banjo fitting is hollow. Do not accidently install a standard bolt at banjo fitting . And do not over tighten Hollow bolts in banjo fittings.

"sometimes it starts after jiggleing the wiring loom"

That right there says you have a shorted/broken wire somewhere in the area that you "jiggle", so get an Ohmmeter and start testing in that area.

I thnk you need a new battery ... have it tested, probably for free, where batteries are sold.

My tail light basically turns on and off as it pleases.

Hi Mate. Just a thought but have you changed the bulb. Sometimes the element breaks but stays roughly in position vibrating with the bike and causing an intermittent fault. If that isnt it then try running a wire from the negetive side to the bike frame. If that stops it flickering at least you will know its an earth fault somewhere. Regards. Johno

Stoves 720 / 900 GRa GR DO gas electric dual fuel oven

Our oven had the same fault.

It turns out that the air intake was blocked.

The air intake is at the front, just below the bottom oven door. Some liberal sucking with a hoover sorted the problem instantly.
