Hi there's this website something like reliable-store and it is very amazing for manual for repairing servicing anything
someone on fixya recommended it to me and I thank him even today

ON MOST 2 STROKE ENGINES IT IS 1:50, BUT MAKE SURE WITH THE MANUFACTURER.

My first suggestion would be to replace the spark plug. It is likely cracked and when hot, misfiring. If this doesn't help then check the valve adjustments (Tappet). If too tight(small) they will cause the valve leak when hot and misfire/backfire.

Well if you tried everything I don't know what else to add. Maybe water is shorting something out?

take carb carefully apart and i would recommend a carb cleaning spray that is also a water repellant. does the job well, clean all parts

does the light come on straight away if so check connections for temp sender and also the sender unit its self or also see if the water pump is working because if not the water may actualy be there but not being surculated causing overheating and light to come on hope this helps
