Re: Yamaha r6 doesnt start at 40 degrees, any help?
Your oil is to thick the same happend to my buell, it start and stall about 5 times befor it would stay running. around 45 degrees outside,I switched to a thinner oil for winter. now it starts and rides in 10 degrees.
my motorcycle is an 04, yamaha r6, I use it everyday, but in the early morning it doesn't want to start. besides this I haven't had any other problem with it.during the day it work perfectly fine, im guessing is the cold outside but is only 40 degrees.and if it is the cold, how can I fix it?
im sorry I say the cold hahha.. the cool weather. sorry is me who have the cold not the motorcycle haaha :)
Start by checking the oil. Is it a cold weather oil, could be too think?
Can you tell me what year the bike is please, and how often do you sue it...the last time you used it...things like thta
Thank you
