Either or, could be anything. the easiest solution (fix) might be tat your idle screw (left side of the engine sitting on your bike) may be set too low so when you idle, the idle revs are set waaaay to low and it simply cuts out. do you have this problem when you are changing down gears from 2nd to 1st, it seems like its about to cut out? (this is without choke)

Hi. Sounds like it could be leaky inlet rubbers. If it sucks air into the mixture it wont run without choke. spray some easy start onto the rubbers while the bike is running and see if the revs increase, if they do you possibly need new inlet manifolds.

Why after 5 to 15 miles back-fire, stalling, mis-fire, full choke to keep running? When stopped I smell gas and battery is drained. Does anyone know what may be going on?

check battery connections might be loose.. also check for water in bottom of gas tank. sometimes after bouncing around water is sucked into carbs.

Won't stay running without choke 2005 Hyosung GT 250

I would guess its been sitting for a while,, anyway,, take it to a professional and have the carb cleaned and set. Maybe the entire fuel system from tank down also.

Hyosung GT250R Tacho not working

These bikes are never senen with many miles on them when for sale, invariably they have issues uncommon to a newer bike, this sis due to the workmanship and metalurgical issues etc, they are clones but thats where the similaritys end, they nevr last from all I ever saw of these bikes.
If you mean loses power on hills due to clutch slippage, the springs i know get weak fast and lose tension sufficient to engage fully thus allowing plates to slip and losing power to the rear wheel, if you mean otherwise nobody can tell you this way correctly.

Craftsman Weed Eater only runs on choke (not at all now!)

Check the mounting screws holding the carburettor and the plate behiend the carb, they often become loose, also the gaskets, they might need renewing. Your carb. could need cleaning and new diaphrams. stephen.

Waverunner bogs down on acceleration

Our 1996 waverunner has been running great until this weekend. It seems to bog down after 3 minutes of running at full speed. If you keep it at 3/4 speed no problem, it runs steady. Tried carb cleaner but it still runs the same....What repairs are we looking at. thanks.....
