Extreme Heat 2007 FLHTCUI - WAY TOO MUCH HEAT COMING OUT ON RIGHT SIDE, ESPECIALLY FOR PASSENGER. HARLEY NO HELP. THEY TELL ME IT IS BECAUSE OF CA EMISSIONS.

Do you have separate heat/cooling controls for driver and passenger. If so, you have two blend doors/actuators.

I would talk to a dealer or two.
You could have a damaged heater box or blend door. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.
There was a recall for some blend doors on some Jeep models.
You may have to contact factory customer service to get it fixed.

sounds like the doors that open and close that direct the air are jammed, or are not receiving a signal. Have someone run a code check which should tell you. May just need to have a faulty code erased or...$$$ repair by Volvo.

controls will be moved manualy with levers fof heat not digatal

I really can't be sure off hand, but what you wrote looks like the control valves are sticking(these flaps allow air to go different directions at the vents). its located at the heater core(towards the left side of the heater core) under the plastic just under the dash. you can manually move them, encase they are stuck, they do stick sometimes. while checking the vent doors, make sure your vacuum lines are connected. also check to make sure your vent hoses are tight. I hope this helps

Just had this happen today to my 2007 silverado heat on the right side cold air on the left side. After engine was off 15 minutes and restarted heat was on both sides. I'm guessing a relay failed to open door to allow the heat to flow thus blowing cold air.will monitor diligently for a while.

on the 2000, the rear cyl is what heats up the motor so much..yes this is common but not to the extreme of over heating..your h.d. dealer may have another sugestion..

Suspect the left temp actuator failed internally.
