Try some Loctite on the threads:

The blue allows disassembly with common hand tools.
The red usually needs impact tools to undo.

Available at auto parts stores.

The crankshaft sprocket (for the primary chain) on Harley's use the red to secure the nut, as this is something you don't want coming loose on ya.

You can add for possible causes:
clogged oil filter
worn oil pump
clogged oil pump pick up
faulty oil pressure sender
very low oil level

would need to know engine size, and model as there is 2 strock and 4 stroke models.

I am not a Malaguti expert but your problem sound like a clogged exhaust canister on the header. You probably need a new one. You can make sure of that if you can get your hands on another, even used, one to swap and test.Once you take off the exhaust canister, check the exhaust port on the cylinder if it has reduced diameter from burnt and solidified oil. You need to clean that carefully not to scratch the piston or drop solidified oil into the cylinder.
Also check your oil pump (if there is one) to be properly adjusted and not to overfeed the engine with oil. If you mix the oil with the gas in your fuel tank, never exceed 2% oil in the mixture. You do more harm than good.

If there is a place for motor oil on the engine, its a 4 stroke, and use 10w-30. If not, use a 40:1 mixture (gas to 2-stroke oil ratio). Not a stupid question... only stupid if you didn't ask, and did the wrong thing without asking first! Hope this helps!
