Carb problem ? Bike fires but won't run ? Any ideas?
SOURCE: engine not running
Your carb should have another jet. What you cleaned was the main jet in the center of the carb. There should be another jet called a pilot jet. Often it has a metal plug covering it up so the setting can not be changed at that point. Instead, they want you to change the setting with the pilot air screw. In each case, if you remove the screw, count the number of turns for removal and put the screw back the same number of turns.
The pilot jet controls the idle. It picks up gas from the float bowl then the gas gets metered by the jet and the air screw then passes through a circuit (drilled passageway), in the carb casing and comes out in the center of the carb close to the needle jet. You will need to get the jet and circuit cleaned.

SOURCE: i want to have more horsepower
Hey. Replacing the stock cam with a performance camshaft will help. To gain more horsepower you should also make the airflow to the engine better. Replacing the stock sylinder with a big bore 150cc kit will sure make the engine more willing. The engine on a 08 Derbi senda baja model, is the same engine that you will find on a Yamaha TTR 125. So that is what you should search for. Hope it helps:)

check for spark at the plug. no spark? check for wet electrical connectors. yes spark? drain float bowl of gas. water may have entered during cleaning process. Shoot carburator cleaner into carb inlet and try to start engine.

first have the head trued at a machine shop then get new head bolts, clean mating surfaces spotless with a non residue cleaner such as brake clean DO NOT TOUCH ANY SURFACE AS YOUR FINGERS LEAVE DEPOSITS that includes the gasket, torque to manufacturer spec with lightly oiled bolts,
