Fuel line routing

Bruce, look for the fuel line running along frame rail with the gas filter attached, this will be the high pressure fuel line that feeds the engines fuel rail/injectors. searched the net and could not find a lot on the fuel lines for Avalanche. Check the attached links,instruction and guides, Good luck

You haven't stated the make and model.. BUT generally IPL's don't show the fuel line routing. Generally the most direct route from tank to carb.

I found that the fuel line kit sold at "Home Depot" has a diagram showing how the fuel lines are routed. The kit includes a wire tool so that you can pull the new fuel lines thru those little holes in the fuel tank. Hope this helps.

save yourself some time and look under the truck and trace the fuel lines from the fuel pump. The line with the gas filter in it will be the pressure line and the other will be the return line. Not sure if that helps but it is better than wasting your time looking for a diagram for two fuel lines.

Hi.

There is no "diagram" showing the whole routing of fuel lines in the bike. You need to use different diagrams in Fuel System section of the service manual. Fuel system section starts at page 15 in service manual, but what you really need starts at page 40. I have posted fuel service manual at the end of comment.

There is one forum where users discussed the routing. One user has colored the diagram from service manual to indicate lines routing. Here the diagram:



Here the forum, I quote:

"The red and yellow are the fuel lines that go to the petcock. The green one you left unmarked also goes to the petcock. The line with a question mark is a vacuum line that connects to a part in front of the battery along with the larger lines to the cylinders."

It's hard to find diagram for older bike.
I got the pic from the tank to pet ****.

it's in the fuel tank it goes from the carburator into the fuel tank and replace the fuel filter while you have the tank off.
