Milage increase tips - 2008 Bajaj Pulsar 200 DTSi

If there is a lot of pitting or corrosion visible, it would not hurt.
Replacing the spark plugs and air filter would help.
Changing engine oil and oil filter may not help with milage but it will make the engine last longer.
Increasing tire air pressure to the maximum rated for the tires will usually result in better milage but may actually increase tire wear rate.

More speed equals less fuel milage, more milage equals less speed.

Several tips; Maintain the air pressure in tires at the highest max PSI as embossed in the sidewall of each tire. Don't rev the engine needlessly. Turn the engine off when stuck in traffic. Change to a larger front sprocket with one or two more teeth, ( 12 teeth to 13 or 14 teeth ). Ride slower for less wind resistance. Keep the chain oiled. Change gearbox oil every 2000 miles. Please note that you may need to add a link to the chain in order to use the larger sprocket. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

Mileage is affected by many things. Here are some things you can do to increase fuel mileage.

Make sure engine is in good condition and timing is correct. Fresh sparkplug and clean air filter. Tires need to be properly inflated and be sure none of the brakes are dragging. Good quality clean fuel is a must also. If the bike is chain drive or belt drive be sure the tension is correct and not too tight. Modify your riding habits. Really fast takeoffs consume extra fuel.

If you are meaning its fuel consumption the first place i would look is the air filter. If this is blocked or very dirty the bike will be running rich. It is most likely that it needs a good service.

you can increase the mileage by riding it. I think you meant decline though so im not really sure. im a go kart and dirt bike racer so not to sure about that

In regard to the spark plug.Tighten it up untill it touches with the washer at the bottom of the plug.Now,go about 3/4 further in the turning of the sparkplug.This is correct.In regard to the milage,cant help without all the things you do with the m/bike.Hope this helps

air intake sensor is supposed to be right there on the air filter housing going to the throttle body

Try using a carb cleaner or fuel treatment for a carb car only not fuel injected. Is it fuel injected? check first does help. Make sure the oil level is right and tyre pressure should be around 28-30 psi per tyre.
