SOURCE: motor bogs out when i pull throttle

First when you say it bogs, does the motor stutter or does it just go flat? A very good test to determine if the problem is to much fuel or a lean situation is while riding get in top gear with a load on the motor at full throttle. Slowly roll out of the throttle about 1/8th throttle and see if the motor picks up RPM's. I'm suspicious that you may possibly have a plugged air filter or perhaps something blocking the air inlet. Does the bike get worse fuel mileage? Have you checked the valve clearance lately? Tight valves are notorious for the problem you are having. Please contact me with test results and I can further diagnose your problem. I'm confident we can resolve your problem as soon as we determine which direction we need to go.

SOURCE: 03 HD dyna wide glide blows oil from breather...

How many miles do you have? You probably need to have your oil pump alligned. They get out of wack and cause over oiling. I believe it caused by not being able to return oil efficiently. An evo tappet block alignment tool is now used to align the TC internal oil pump.

2004 Harley Davidson FXDWG - FXDWGI Dyna Wide Glide dies with the slightest amount of throttle

try cleaning the Air Idle Control valve...take your air filter etc off and look into the throttle body...in the 12 o clock position before the butterfly plate there is a hole where the aic lives...you can usually see and hear it move when powering the bike up.You'll need to use a torch to inspect it
give it a good clean with injection or carb cleaning spray and make sure it moves freely

2007 Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide fuel pump diagnosis @

Hi, Anonymous the following is a systematic procedure for diagnosing fuel pump issues designed to keep "DRACHMA" to a minimum:
1. Normal fuel pump pressure is 55-62 PSI.
2. Check the white plastic convoluted tubing for age-related pinholes by removing and plugging the end that connects to the quick disconnect check valve and then turn on the ignition switch and look for fuel streams exiting the pinholes, if any exist, replace tubing as necessary. $38 from Harley $20 from eBay.
3. Check for a clogged primary fuel filter that comes off the bottom of the pump to screen out big rocks and clean as necessary.
4. Check for a clogged secondary fuel filter by removing it from the system and replace it with a short splicing tube turn on the ignition switch and recheck fuel pressure if pressure increases to the normal pressure you need a new filter $ 166 from Harley $40 from Drag Specialties on eBay.
5. If all the above check out OK then you need a new fuel pump $ 324 from Harley $ 60 from Amazon and eBay.

How do I remove the seat on a 2002 Supe Dyna Glide?

Remove the screw from the rear seat bracket.

Slide seat to the rear of the motorcycle and lift the seat. There is a tab that secures the seat to the frame under the front of the seat.

The strap can remain in place and slid to the lower front section of the seat. The seat can be slid thru the strap.
