Does the bank angle sensor cut the fire to the engine? If so, where is this sensor located?

Above the oil filter behind the round plastic cover. It has a red led that flashes when you turn the bike over or the bike runs. if it doesn't flash - it is bad or the fuse to it is bad.

You cannot bypass them. The ECU will malfunction if it does not detect them. You just have to tie wrap them on somewhere and make a base out of aluminum plates to fit the angle sensor horizontally.

I not 100% positive but I think the bank angle sensor is inside the speedo. The latest schematic I have is a '99 model and that's where they say it is. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: engine won't start/ no spark

Make sure the bike is upright, then turn key on then off this resets the BAS. There were recalls for these sensors on some model years.

SOURCE: 2002 sporster no fire at the plug bypassed

Test the coil. Using a DVOM (Digital Volt Ohm Meter) , check the resistance of the primary winding of your coil. Disconnect the wires from the small wire connections on your coil. Put one meter lead of your meter on each small terminal. It makes no difference which lead go which connector. Put the meter in OHMS< R X 1. You should read 3 to 4 ohms of resistance.

Another way to test the coil is run a power wire straight to one side of the coil. One the other side, connect a straight wire. Turn the power on to the coil and the momentarily ground the stright wire on the other side of the coil. When you take the wire away from ground, you should see a spark at the spark plug.

If your coil test good and you have power on the coil when you turn the switch on, your problem is the sensor plate in the timing cavity or something to do with a security system.

I'm building chopper with Yamaha Raider 1900 engine can any sensors be eliminated

The Yamaha Raider 1900 engine has several sensors that are critical for its operation. These sensors include the throttle position sensor (TPS) and the oxygen sensor, which are part of the fuel injection system. Eliminating these sensors could cause the engine to run poorly or not at all. Removing the bank angle sensor on a Yamaha Raider 1900 engine is not recommended. The sensor is an important safety feature that helps prevent accidents by cutting off the engine in case of a tip-over or crash. Removing it could lead to serious consequences. However, here is something to consider about the servo.

4.6l engine. What is firing order?

Found this firing order.
As far as the sensor, you talking about 02 sensor? Bank one has the number 1 cylinder, bank 2 is the other bank, sensor 1 is the first sensor you come to, in the exhaust.

Sensor bank angle

The bank angle sensor is located in the fairing near the guage assembly. It cuts the fuel pump off when the bike is tipped over. Do you have a specific question?

Where is bank1 and bank 2 located on a lincoln LS?

On all cars, the bank 1 is where the first piston is...Your firing order on that car which is the first piston...Buy a chilton or a repair manual for your car and it will tell you which firing order your motor has....Its usually on the right hand side...Passenger side...Rule of thumb if you look at the spark plugs the one closest too you is usually the first piston....Bank 1 is located on the same side as the first piston...I hope this helps...

Where are the front 02 sencers located

There are 4 oxygen sensors on the Windstars They are divided into 2 banks of 2.
- Bank 1 is the for the rear 3 cylinders of the engine
- Bank 2 is for the front 3 cylinders.

Bank 1 / Sensor 1 (upstream) is located just below, in the pipe, the exhaust manifold on the back of the engine.

REMOVE TIP: you may have to bend part of the transmission heat shield out of the way - be sure to put it back when done.

Bank 1 Sensor 2 (downstream) is located just past the drivers side catalytic converter. Bank 2 Sensor 1 (upstream) is located just below the exhaust manifold, in the pipe, at the front of the van - access is from the top. Bank 2 Sensor 2 (downstream) sensor is located just past the passenger side catalytic converter.

NOTES: * Use lots of penetrating oil - allow to soak - to make removal easier and avoid damaging the exhaust pipe

* The sensors are screwed directly into the pipe at a 90 degree angle and look like spark plugs with either 8", 12", or 14" wires attached to them

What's the Bank Angle Sensor = 32495-98 function? Regards

The Bank Angle Sensor is a safety feature. In the event of a crash or tip-over, the sensor cuts the ignition to stall the motor.

2002 pt cruiser dies then fires right back up randomly going down the highway

most of the times when the car cut out it is cause by the crank angle sensor you wait for it to cool down and it will fire back up again, best way to check it is to take a bottle of water with you and try to locate (which is between the fire wall and the engine on the driver side on the engine block) where the crank angle sensor. when the car cuts out pour the water on the sensor to cool it down if the car then starts right away that is the problem.
