The hose on the bottom of the carb is just a drain hose. It connects to the bottom of the carb and nowhere else.

How do I adjust the carb?

there are two screws on the outside of the carb the bigger one with knurling on it is the idle control screw the other one is the air to fuel control screw. It may be necessary to adjust both but try the idle screw first. It may need more adjustments as it warms up. Just mess with it until it idles thr way you want it. Hope this helps.

Need to find out where the hose at the bottom of the carb on a 1994 harley softail connects to the bike.

If the small diameter hose, usually clear in color, comes off the very bottom of the carb, it doesn't connect anywhere. This is an overflow hose. In the event the float bowl overfills for any reason, the hose directs the fuel to a place where it will run onto the ground instead of the hot engine. Usually, it goes back and down between the engine and the transmission to the bottom of the bike.

Good Luck

Check that spark is good. Make sure carb floats and jets are clean. Needles and seat also tend to get worn and warped and need replacing which is very common.

Vacumm hose on far right carb not connected,cant find where it go

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Offhand on most bikes including Kawasakis, hoses would be connected at:
  • bottom - for drain, ends down, not connected to anything;
  • mid - overflow, slightly bigger, would lead down, not connected to anything;
  • front of carb or on the rubber connector to intake manifold - either carb balancer or vacuum, should go to next carb or a common vacuum line; or
  • should go to the fuel valve.
Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
