Rear lights keep going out.

We have had the vehicle rewired. Worked on twice and still can not keep the rear lights burning. Does anyone have any idea what or where to go. We use the VW bulbs and they are very expensive but still burn out quickly. It is a 2002 Jetta TDI 4 Dr. Sedan

2012 Camaro: Why does the left rear turn light keep going out? I have had to replace it twice now. I have never had to replace a turn signal in any other cars I have owned.

You may be just unlucky with this particular light. Sometimes we will "fix" something and the replacement part may have had a flaw which makes it confusing. Anyone repairing usually will do troubleshooting to eliminate systematically what is not causing the problem and usually in pursuing the cheapest possible cause to the worst case senario. In this case, bad bulb, to a major short in the wiring harness (probably not the later). To find out you should take your vehicle in to your dealer, a highly respected mechanic or to an electrician that specializes in auto electronics. The wiring to your taillight may have a short in it which could cause overheating of the filament. The light going off and on consistently can cause the filament to break. Your dealer or electrical expert should be able to check the impedance (best to know specs but could check with the other taillight to see if they are the same)... Hope this helps you... cmilton111

I have a 2001 olds silhouette and the driver side rear drum brake adjuster keeps breaking. I have replaced it twice now and its all put together right and the adjuster just keeps breaking. What would be...

Most unusual! Never heard of this. Are you certain the brake shoes are the correct fit for this vehicle, and are the front and rear shoes positioned correctly? I think I would pull both rear drums off, and compare the two sides, and see that everything is just alike. All the springs in the same holes, everything just alike. Also take the driver's side drum to a shop and have it checked for being out of round. Maybe the drum is warped or not true.
Good luck.

Both tail lights and the licence plate lights are out. I have checked EVERY fuse twice. Hears through the grapevine that these trucks have a tail light circut board... Really? Where is it then? Anyone have...

I believe they had a tail light circut card on trucks and suv 's at rear of vehicle on frame joist near rear bumper it is where left/right and truck harness come together and if memory serves me it is a brown wire which feeds tail lights and of course a black ground wire, if it is a truck/suv you may also see a large (10ga) white wire as a ground used for a trailer connector.

I need to rewire my tail lights on my 1994 Ford F350. The fuse for the circuit keeps burning out and I can't find a short.

Most likely its under the rear of the box where the main whip connects to the taillight whip, usually there would be a trailer plug spliced in there, that happens with any spliced connection

Right blinker and brake light wont work. Fuse is okay. How do I rewire it or ??? I am a single female with limited funds but enough know how ability to fix it with guidence

If it's your right rear blinker that's out and your right rear brake light that's out. Odds are the bulb has burned out. I believe you require a 3157 bulb. Open the tailgate and look to the side of the tail light assembly and you should see two or three screws. Remove the screws and gently pull back on the housing and it should pop right off. twist out the bulb counter clockwise and look to see if one of the two filaments in the bulb is burnt out. I'm willing to bet it is. Put the new bulb in and reassemble. Should be about $5 for two bulbs

Rear turn signal electrical

Try changing the bulb. If that doesn't work, then your going to have to rewire or replace the socket. You can get a replacement at any parts store, or you should be able to get one from the dealership if you want OEM. If the bulb socket is part of the tail light housing then your best bet is to get one from a salvage yard unless you want to spend the money for a new one.

Bmw alarm keeps going off

Had the same problem. I cleaned the bonnet open/close sensor located at the back left of the engine compartment, and sprayed it with wd40. Worked a treat for me. Another solution is to push you lock button twice. This turns off the interior movement sensor.
