The stock turn signals have 3 wires1) Positive for turn signal2) Positive for cruising light (comes on with the light switch's 1st click)3) Ground.Obviously you can either replace the entire turn signal with the aftermarket one and stop using the cruising light or bypass the positive wire for the turn signal only, to the aftermarket one, and leave the original turn signal with the cruising light only.

SOURCE: can i wire my turn signals into my factory tail

no it will cause the indicators to come on when you brake, and the brake light would come on if you are only turning off a slip lane, confusing other drivers.
The ones that do what you are asking have a number of LEDs that only flash the colors required, so you will need an accessory assembly\tail tidy

Make sure the wireing is all connected properly, i do know that some of these units only use 1 earth wire for the whole light, where as you would have 5 wires for the earths originaly, 2 x indicators, 1 x stop and tail light, 1x number plate light, it may be that you have wired an earth into a live circuit on the new lamp, the coloure code does not always mach that of your bike, so you will have 2lives for the rear indicators, identify these by putting the wires directly to your battery one at a time, connect the indicators using the indicator live wires only to the new unit, the stop light using the live wire only, and the rear light using the original earth and rear light live

Trailer lights have two wire out of each fixture left turn goes on left side Right hand turn goes on the other side Tail lights connect how and brakes connect how?

One wire is for the brake/directional filament and the other wire is for the tail light. The fixture should be grounded when it is attached to the bracket. To test which is which (the brown wire is USUALLY the ail light) make sure the fixture is grounded and touch a hot wire to each of the wires coming from the fixture. Watch to see which wire lights up the brighter filament and this is the brake/directional light. The dimmer filament if the tail light. Brakes lights and directional lights are both the same filament. Wen the brakes are applied, both lights are activated. When a direction light is turned on, it simply flashes the brake light filament.

remove stock relay ,find out which is live in on the new ic relay and connect this to the blue wire, find the live output from the relay and connect this to the grey wire, the last wire may need to be connected to ground to provide an ground signal to make it flash.

Installing led 2 wire lights

I had the same problem with my 1997 marauder the only way i have found to make them work is to hook up the LED signal lights into the stock signal lights i know it sounds crazy but what i have figured out is that it uses the stock bulbs like a fuse. all you have to do is take the headlight out just like you did when you wired in the LED lights and wire in your stock bulbs along with the LED lights once you have done this put the stock bulbs in the headlight assembly and put the headlight back in this should fix your problem at least it worked for me let me know if it works for you as well good luck

Electrical problem

The best way to troubleshoot an electrical problem is to return the bike to it's original condition and get everything to work like that. Then (using the correct instructions) reinstall the accessories one at a time making sure each part works before going on to the next one.
The "extra" wires probably are not extra. They may be the ground wires, Honda dosen't ground anything through the frame. Be sure you (or the person installing accessories) knows how to work with electric components.
