It's possible you may have a faulty air flow meter. Recommend a trip to the garage for an analysis. Motor will not achieve the speed it should have such a defect. OJS

Wheni accelerate, the blazer wont go past 40 mph and is jerky. the rpm goes very high but the speed is still only 40 mph.

Check for a clogged catalytic converter.

I have a 1997 Ford Thunderbird 4.6L and I floor it my car wont go pasted 40 mph or if im past 50 mph and if i try to floor it wont go past 80 mph and then start to deacclerate.

sounds like a catlytic converter problem.

I was just driving down the road, and my speedometer just rocketed up past 120 mph, and the stays there, and climes past the numbers, the lowest it will drop down is 100 mph when im stopped, it wont go...

Sounds like you need a new accelerator cable

2004 Suzuki GSX-R 750 clutch adjustment I have changed the front and back chain on my Suzuki GSX-R 750 k4. my problem is when I pull my clutch lever in it won't disengage so I tried to adjust the bolt and screw of the casing for the push rod... I need to start back from 0. Can someone explain to me clearly and simply how to put back the push rod then reassemble the mechanism that pushes the rod and adjusts the lever and cable correctly so that when I'm going to pull the clutch lever the bike could be like its suppose to be in neutral... thanks in advance
