Not one of the answers above was anything less than total drivel.

SOURCE: DENON AMP OVERHEATED

More than likely, you popped an amp channel. My experience is that it is the one closest to the middle of the heat sink.

Take it to an authorized service center, and be prepared for a large bill. Good luck...Rob

Several things here. Do an oil change, 10w40 motor oil. Run premium gas and install a new NGK spark plug one heat range colder than stock. It sounds like you have an air leak causing a lean fuel mix. Check the carb mount bolts and the intake manifold bolts for tightness. Also set the valve clearances with a cold engine > .002 intake and .003 exhaust. Check for any cylinder head leaks. This would show up as oil on the cooling fins at the base of the cylinder head. Tighten the head bolts if needed.

SOURCE: Overheating & won't start. Oil & coolant OK.

Sounds like your thermostat is stuck in the closed position. I'd replace the thermostat and flush & refill the coolant.

My rm80 2000 model runs fine but wont hit powerband when it feels like should it feels like it wants to but cant what is likely causeing it

Hi; It could be A carb or air intake issue, also you power band chip may be bad or your throttle cable may have stretched and is not opening carbs all the way, Check this first before you spend A ton of money like I did years ago. Hope this helps good luck and be safe....

Hi We Have 2002 Burgman Skywave Suzuki we brought

As it is a four stroke, I would suggest that you start by draining and flushing the cooling system. Then refill with antifreeze. (it also works in hot temperatures) if the problem continues after this then you will need a new thermostat. Engines usually run at between 80 and 90 deg C the thermostat is there to try and keep the engine between these temperatures.
