I just bought a used 2000 yamaha blaster 200cc 4-wheeler and the side of the engine that has the kick start has a tube in the top of the crank case that looks like some kind of maybe vacume tube or dip stick? in any event the opening is open what goes in or on it as i don't want any water or dirt to get in the crank case the tube is on the right front of the motor at the top and faces the front wheels

no dont worry about that # what type of machine is it? what your gonna need to do is find the mark on the fly wheel some have a single mark and some have two if you have the cover off put it on there should be 2 access holes take the covers (small and larger probally flat head allen key) turn the engine counter clockwise till you line the second mark you see in that little window if it has two there should be a mark to line it up with, that is top dead center now there will be marks on the cam sprocket thatneed to get lined up also thats where i need to know what kind of machine it is but somehave an arrow some have two lines that get lined up with the gasket surface. if you post it i can help you finish

I have recently had this problem with a customer. It seems the 4x4 low will only engage in neutral with the brake applied. And also check fuse. Then select drive and you will feel it lock in. Don't "goose" the fuel when attempting this.

SOURCE: four wheel drive not engaging.you pull the stick into 4 low,the rear end goes into low but the 4 wheel doesnt kick in,i think it may be a vaccum issue?

Is it manual front hubs?
