SOURCE: my oil light comes on

you may have a bad oil sending unit the oil light works off of oil pressure i would start by changing the oil sending unit and if the light still comes on then you have bigger problems. get a mechanical oil pressure gauge and hook up and check the oil pressure after the engine has warmed up to operating temp you should have at around 30 psi but can survive with 10psi but might be time for a rebuild. if no oil pressure then you might have a broken shaft between the oil pump and the distrubuter. if the engine is running and not making any out of the normal ticking, knocking sounds probably just the sending unit though, they are about 25 dollars and i believe its right above the oil filter on the 6 cylinder.

Oil light comes on and off at low speads

If you checked the oil level & it's good, then you're okay. But, keep an eye on it... As long as the situation with the light stays the same, ok. If it starts coming on more often/different times, then you'll have to find-out of it's just the oil pressure sending unit ( cheap ) or if the oil pump might be dying.

My oil light keeps coming on. I switch off while driving goes comes on again. For the past 3 days stays off

Greetings John, the new sensor may very well be the problem. Quite a few newer cars also have a "counter" based on mileage and may temporarily flash the oil warning light on (usually when starting the vehicle) to indicate that an oil change is coming due.

I hope that helps.

I have a 97 supercharged the oil light keep comin stay on while Im driven the oil is full

The oil light is for low oil pressure, not low oil.
You need to have someone check the actual oil pressure with a mechanical gauge or change the oil pressure switch and see it the light still comes on.

Blue thermostat light comes on after driving for 5 miles or so and stays on; after driving for 20 miles or so on occasion the oil pressure light comes on when car slows down and is idling.

when the thermostat in a beetle goes, it stays in the open position, so it could be you blue light is indicating a "cold system",change the thermostat.
the oil light will come on if low on oil or you have a low pressure, try using 10/40 semi synthetic oil.and mloyslip.if no improvement you will need to renew the oil pump.

Oil light than the engine light stays on did change the oil but 3 time was not to oil specification due to money not sure if that has something to do with it

yes it does. you have to keep the oil level up to par with specs. a goo all year all weather oil is a 10w30. you can use any brand, but the critical thing is to keep the level up. low oil will cause those lights to come on....and make sure you replace the oil filter.

After the oil was changed on my 2005 Dodge Van, the oil service light keeps coming on. If I turn the van off and restart it, the light goes out and stays out until I restart it again. I had the oil changed...

First... Read your owners manual - page 226 - Turn the ingnition switch to ON (do not start) and fully depress the accelerator pedal slowly 3 times within 10 seconds and then turn the ignition switch to OFF position.
Good luck and keep me posted.

I have oil change soon light come on but it wont stay off after i changed the oil.

If it has been reset, but keeps coming on...it can either be replaced, or if you keep track of your own oil changes; you can drop the lower panel which consists of 7mm wrench and unplug it.It will be on the passenger's side under glove box.

The engine light always come on after an oil

Does it come on just when you first start it up after the oil change. Does it stay on for Miles? If it comes on just for a few mint.s right after the change, it has to do with the oil press safety. You install a new filter and as the engine starts it will have to refill the oil filter with oil, plus refill all the oil ports in the block to finely build press to shut off the press safety switch, which will the turn off the light.
