I got a second hand one which is above 12000 km. the scooter runs ok but suddenly i lost eveything electrical such as front lights and back lights except the indicator lights and the start buttom are working.. The engine shuts off when i stop for a while. The scooter runs fine but the engine sounds really quite when i leave the gas handle while moving.all that happened suddenly in one time. any advice?

I would suspect that you have a defective igntion switch, the igntion switch is what powers up all of the electrical system when you turn the key to run, the contacts can get burnt or the connector or both. The switch is under/behind the ignition key cylinder which operates the switch or course.
