Fuse for 2008 harley sportster 883xl

if you can hear the starter motor but it doesn't engage you've sheered off the starter bendex shaft

If this is a carb. bike just turn the fuel petcock to off pos. Fuel injected remove left side side cover and locate fuel pump fuse start bike pull fuse bike will stall and try to start again this will depressurize the system turn key off and do not turn on again. then at the tank connection slide the connector ring up and pull the fuel line down and when you put it back together make sure you hear it click or snap into place locking them together Good Luck

CHECK UNDER THE RIGHT SIDE COVER IN THE EFI FUSE BOX. Fuse #2

check the fuses and the ground wire to be sure you have a good ground otherwise lights often wont work.

Sounds like a dead short check all the wiring
