2008 Suzuki Bandit 1250 FI light came on

I have just serviced my Bandit 1250 and all went reasonably well, however when I restarted the bike the FI light came on, on the tachometer and started to flash on the digital display. the bike runs but feels underpowered when accelerating. Does anyone know any solutions rather than taking the bike to a dealership @

SOURCE: Adding ABS to a bike

Would it be ADVISABLE? No. Is this for another, identical-except-for-the-lack-of-ABS moto? Or another model/brand moto? Most motorcycle ABS systems are crude, at their best. Roughty equivalent to the ABS you'd find installed in a '90s GMC or Ford pickup. Better than nothing, but more of an annoyance than a help.

Re fuel problem on 2007 1250 GSF Bandit.
Take out the fuel pump, and check cleanliness of screen.
It sounds like it is partially blocked to me. The screen is small and it does not take much to block it up with gunk. You should then have full fuel flow. You have to remove tank, and turn upside down, then remove the allen bolts and carefully work the whole assembly out. Be careful, because it will only slide out and in at a particular angle. You are supposed to replace the O ring seal, but I think this is on condtion. Clean the seal and put some sort of synthetic or rubber grease on it.

SOURCE: gsxr 600 1999 rough idle white smoke underpowered knocking pinki

I,d probably do a compression check on this old girl. sounds like she needs some attention to the top end.The valve stem seals sound like there spent.Oil is seeping past the seals into the combustion chamber and being burnt off, thus explaining the rough idle and white smoke at start-up and dissipating as the engine warms up.Probably time to spend a bit of coin keerossi.Think of it as an exchange, money for thrills.hope i've helped you out a bit....tabby...OZ

How to adjust seat height on a 1250 bandit

not much you can do ,maybe turn the rear shock to a ofter setting, your bike manual will show how to adjust that but it will only be a small amount, maybe contact your local seat repair shop and have them remove some seat foam or look into a after market seat ...

Wiring diagram

You can download a free PDF service manual at the site below. Listed is a 1200 Bandit, among others. The wiring diagram should pretty well match your 1250. The service for the motor will pretty well match as well.
