The 2004 SilverwingFSC600D/A-(V matic) indicator light stays on all the time. It doesn't seem to affect the Bike at this time. how would I check to see what the code could be? I will check the Battery and Voltage but needed to know if iot's as simple as holding the buttons on the cluster to get it to blink or if your knowledge could assist me in another area. Thanks Jimi

SOURCE: charging problem on 2002 929 rr1 blade

I'm thinking your battery is the wrong ah. 8.6 for that type motorcycle is quite low. I would expect around 12 - 14 ah. Actually you should not be draining the battery though. The problem may be in the alternator assy its self. Have you checked all three legs of the charging system coming from the stator? I have found the stator to be the culprit many times in this situation. The bike should not be draining the battery at all if the alternator is charging correctly. What was the oem battery ah that you replaced?

SOURCE: Yellow Light On. 'V' is printed on the light.

Hi John
The indicator light indicates that something is out of spec with your V belt drive. It may purely be just a distance traveled thing "time for service" indicator that can be reset. But, if you wish to get ongoing reliability from the motorcycle, then I suggest that you book it in for a service. Nothing worse than stuck on the side of the road broken down. Happy to talk to you more about it. Thanks for using FixYa

SOURCE: battery not holding a charge,

Check the charging rate of your bike, see if its system is charging, if it does charge thn theres somewhere the battery is getting drained out.
In order to see if tht is happenning, switch off everything and thn remove one battery wire on the battery, after doing so try to fix it back and notice if theres any sparks when it comes to the contact of the battery terminal , if so thn theres a drain somewhere in the electricals and wiring.

Good luck.

SOURCE: no juice in bike with new battery

Hi I am Vortash common fault with this model bike was the ignition switch a quick test is put a meter across the the battery .. you should read 12 -13volts if the voltage drops when the ignition is switched it's usually is ok but not allways it is just a quick check sometimes it is intermittent now see how far the voltage drops if it is considerable chances are you have a short .. usually the rectifier or the starter feel the battery see if it is getting warm with the ignition on this will also indicate a short .. check for bad earth connections particarly from the battery to the frame.. Check all fuses in this country there was one on the main lead from the battery .. hope this helps regards Vortash

My air bag light stays on in my 2004 pontiac montana

No different than any other OBD2 Malfunction Indicator Light
you get on your dash

My answer is pretty much the same,as we get hundreds of
these same check light questions every day

You can't work on your own car anymore, so it really doesn't
matter why or what the light is for,it still has to go in & be
diagnosed & resolved

That said, if the question is why or what with is wrong with the
srs or safety restraint system (air bag) don't know.

Has to be diagnosed by a repair shop with a professional scan
tool A code reader is of no value,so forget all the going to the
auto parts store advice for something free

I have the same problem with my daewoo because the switch underneath and on top of my brake pedal has a push in type plastic nail so this switch might need to be changed. You should also check all fuses to see if any blowned but if any are blowned that you should have a short somewhere that is making this fuse blowned.

Hi. I think there are some parts inside your laptop are already defective and need to replace. Please bring it to the repair shop to check what are the real problem is. Laptops are very sensitive. Next time be careful with it. I hope it doesn't affect the screen.

The abs light stays on. doesn't seem to,affect

A sensor for the ABS is faulting for some reason, maybe a sensor is bad or something with the system is wrong. It is what the indicator is for. You may not notice a problem but unless youre extreme braking you may not. I would suggest a brake system check.
