SOURCE: Need cylinder and cylinder head torque specifications 98 XR 250

you dont need torque specs on that just use a 1/2 inch drive with you 14mm or16mm socket hold the wratchet right at the top and tighten it as tight as you could get it like that then use wratchet in normal position and just give it a little snugg it will be perfect i have done it a million time on the same type of bikes...

SOURCE: 91 kx 250 torque values

Engine Top End:
Auto Decompressor Bolt 104 in·lb
Cylinder Head Cover Bolts 87 in·lb
Cylinder Head Bolts: M10 36 S
M6 104 in·lb S

the S in that means the specified pattern ... just like tightening car tire bolts... please note all that it its INCH lbs....

don't know why it says just 36 for the M10 bolts unless they left out inch lbs

Anything else let me know as i've got a manual for the 250 f... actually i've got a few different ones

Robert

Please take a moment to rate this solution as i've taken a few minutes to find the manual thanks

Cylinder head bolts. Tighten the cylinder head bolts gradually and in the sequence shown. Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 18 ft. lbs. (25 Nm) and turn the bolts another 3 turns of 90 degrees using the angular torque gauge KM-470-B.

I am looking for the Torque specs for the head of a RM 125 Suzuki dirt bike .. 1998

If you can give me the diameter of the bolt, not the cap.
And the grade marking on the cap of the bolt,
I can give you the foot pounds torque for that specific bolt.

What is the head bolt torque on a 1990 suzuki lt250r quadracer changing head gasket had head resurfaced need to know the proper torque thank you just put in rm 250 no category for atv

The 8mm head bolts are torqued at 19 - 21 ft/lbs.
any smaller 6mm bolts are torqued to only 6 ft/lbs
like those on the lower cylinder.
