If when you say loose you just mean it is rattling around, anything loose will eventualy fracture and break, probably be a good idea to re secure it before you loose it, however being loose in the silencer will have no detremental effect on performance, the way forward is have a look at it yourself check for fractures if none visible its ok to ride

Paslode im65 fires one nail then piston does not return to tdc any India why

1 possible answer is a brad nail jammed in nose area. When gun is fired driver blade rides over the stuck head but there is not enough power in the suction to pull the piston back. Lift the nose catch and look for a trapped brad, quite often it is only the head you will see. Another possibility is a loose or damaged baffle assy. Be awry of unscrewing the baffle assy if the screws are tight as it is possible the screws may shear. I find heating the area around the screws helps as it softens the threadlock that is applied to the screws in manufacture. Make sure the sleeve is clean and that the piston rings are not trapped.

Short baffle is loose

You can pop the top with a drywall putty knife there is two tabs on each side. This will allow you to access the drum. Then tighten the screws holding the baffle in place.

Whether or not to remove the baffles on my kawasaki nomad

Probably not.

As you know or should be aware, everything on a motorcycle is there for a reason and a purpose. All parts complement all other parts. The muffler has these parts inside so your riding will not be annoying to others as well as to provide proper pressure and back pressure for the proper operation of your engine.

The best rule of thumb to follow for modifying your motorcycle's engineering is dont.

Probably not what you wanted to hear. I have been riding for just over 37 years and have followed my own advice and had pretty good results.

Bike stalls out in neutral and wont start back up while riding

It sounds like the battery may be bad in spite of Auto-Zone's pronouncement. The connectors to the battery may be bad enough to make a poor connection to the battery posts. Is the battery water level up to the line in each cell?
Re-jet one step bigger as the baffle removal will make it run lean.
