2010 Z1000 in Australia. bike was 100% fine less than a week ago, got it out last night and it wouldn't start. The dash lights up, but doesn't show neutral light when it's in neutral. Also the fuel pump doesn't prime. Not a thing from the start button, not even clicking noise. Battery has full charge. Checked all the fuses, fine. checked kick stand sensor, and kill switch. bike did however fire up everything working, when turned full lock to the right, as soon as i straightened the bars, it would stop again. I did this repeatedly. Then decided to remove headlight to see if there were pinched wires, but couldn't find any pinched or tight wiring. and couldn't get it to start on full lock right again after that. checked very plug i could find without pulling the bike apart. Bike is still under warranty, should i just take it to the dealer??

Get the dealer to sort this out as taking it apart yourself could invalidate the warranty. its classed as third party interferance, and as you are not a kawasaki mechanic they could wash their hands of the warranty.

2003 Saturn Vue with a identity anti theft system. Replaced my battery a few months ago. Couple weeks ago noticed a little difficulty starting up. Last week wouldn't start just clicking noise. Jumped...

Anti-theft system has nothing to do with it . Battery cables , maybe , Park neutral safety switch possibly ! With anti-theft system problem you wouldn't a click or anything , that is if the anti-theft disables fuel or the starter . Plus the SECURITY light would be on if it were a anti-theft system problem . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop that knows how to do starter circuit testing >
Starter Voltage Drop
How to voltage drop test starter motor circuit

And what's this identity anti theft system ? No such thing ! The vehicle has a content theft an vehicle theft deterrent system !
This system disables fuel not cranking of the engine. The VCM/PCM will not disable the fuel due to any BCM message for the remainder of the ignition cycle.
If the VCM/PCM does not receive the same password from the BCM as the last learned one, the vehicle will start and then stalls due to the Fuel Lockout.

1988 lxi honda accord battery drains overnight

Just a couple problems I've had. dome light left on due to faulty door open switch, spot light charger or equipment left plugged or wired to battery, lately I thought I had a bad battery but I just need to clean the terminal connections. One more thing if your car is running you can pull the negative cable off the battery. If the car dies your alternator could be the problem. If you have a light in the trunk or under the hood you could pull the bulb out to make sure you don't have a faulty switch turning them on. These are kind of simple and that is the way I start out.

2006 Freestar. Ran fine last night. Wouldn't start

How many volts does your battery currently have? A cheap multimeter can tell you; I'm not saying the crew at Advance Auto aren't on top of their game, but they do work at Advance Auto... Anything less than 12v DC indicates a problem, and the battery probably won't have enough juice to turn your motor over with less than 10-11v. If your battery voltage is >12v it sounds like you've got a bad starter solenoid (some vehicles integrate these with the starter itself, some do not). Try giving it a few whacks with a rubber mallet or a hammer handle (aka the wooden part).

I have a 1996 Chevy Blazer 6 cylinder 4.3 Vortex engine. The check engine light has been on for a few weeks but it was running just fine. Until all of a sudden it wouldn't start last night. I had...

My first thought would be: If you repaired an emissions hose, take the car back to Auto Zone (or another parts supplier) and let them tell you what code comes up now. You eliminated one problem, now you have to find another.
I wouldn't do a fuel pump without more information.

I have a 2009 Buell Blast with 38 original miles on it. I rode it three weeks ago and it started and ran fine. It sat in the garage for a week or so and wouldn't start. It does not have a fouled...

First, what color is the fouling on the plug? Obviously the plug will need to be changed. It almost sounds like there is something mixed in with the gas causing the plug to build up. IUf the bike has been sitting for a long time with the same gas in it - have the gas tank emptied(it needs to be taken off the bike and flushed out) and have the carburetor cleaned too.

Kawasaki z1000 wont start and the f1 light flashes

The flashing FI is telling you that the Fuel Injection computer has detected a problem in the system. Some problems are minor (dirty air filter) and the computer will still allow the bike to run. Some problems are major (plugged up injectors) and the computer will not allow the engine to start. You will need to have a dealer check the computer diagnostic reading to find out where the problem is.
