I have several Yamaha bikes and sometimes when the bike gets too hot it will let you know in this fashion. Also maybe it has hit the time for servicing. Regardless I would keep riding until light stays on solid then troubleshot it.

1991 Cadillac DeVille (has 110,000 miles on it) suddenly dies while driving. Starts and idles fine, but shuts off after driving only 1-2 blocks. What's wrong and how do we fix it?

There are many things that can contribute to this problem. It sounds like it may be ignition related. Possibly an ignition control module or ignition coil. The check engine light coming on while driving is the key to finding the problem. The light comes on when the computer finds a problem and will then store it in its memory. Have the codes checked for what the computer has found to be at fault and with a little diagnostics, should lead you to the problem

Took my ybr125 to Canterbury...on the downhill drag past Boughton I really gave it beans and suddenly the engine cut out and the engine management light came on for about three seconds and went...

Since the YBR was introduced in 2005 I am going to go out on a limb and say it is computer controlled. Being a single I would also ask how much vibration is involved at RPM?

I would take the following steps; Check mechanical connections of all wiring especially any held against engine or frame areas where corrosion or vibration may cause poor conductivity. Check the spark plug connection also.

Be sure to check all the grounds as these are often overlooked. Remove the ground terminal, clean, grease and reattach. If the problem reoccurs then you will need to access the computer for any codes.

Ford puma engine management light came on when I stalled the engine... But hasn't affected the performance

most workshops would reset the codes for you, and maybe look at it more closely if it reoccurs. Sometimes the light goes away after a period of normal running, but dont know about that model.

Jt fired up car (96 accord v-tech) and light was on checked sensor connector it was tight cleared code hasnt come back on!

Sometimes a bad connection will trigger a code like this, and it wont come back. Other times it will reoccur. Just keep an eye on the light and if it comes back, check the codes to see if it is the same problem that is reoccurring. I have seen this happen many times, and at this point the best thing to do is to wait and see if the light comes back on.

My check engine light went on as soon as my vehicle exceeded 60,000 miles. How do I turn it off?

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5932051-check_engine_light_check and let me know if you have questions.

A scanner can clear the codes and turn off the light, but it will come back on if the fault reoccurs.

KENMORE OVEN HAS FO ON KEYPAD.ANYTHING I CAN DO BEFORE REPLACING KEYPA..MAYBE RELAY SWITCH

Hello,F0,displaying on your keypad means "stuck keypad" and these mean the relay is turned on and to determine if the problem is with the Key Panel or Control, follow these steps
1. Pushing Clear/Off pad
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and wait at least 30 minutes to see if the code reoccurs.
If the code reoccurs, the problem is in the control, that means you have to replace the control.
If the code does not reoccur, the problem is with the Key Panel

Thanks

Car will go dead while driving then restart.has a code in computer for crankshaft position sensor

Mine (quest) would do this at 80 miles per hour with loaded car. Since I keep it at 72, it has not reoccurred. I suggest that the sensor is working fine. There is just a slight engineering problem with my engine that does not produce heat/vibration beyond the calibration of my sensor, as long as I keep the speed down. Fewer traffic tickets also.
