My bike, Honda VT-750 AC Ewont start. I was riding my bike and stopped for a drink. When I got back on it, it wouldn't start. When I turn on the ignition switch I have no front lights (rear ones work). Push the starter button and Nothing, No Click Nothing. I've checked every fuse, the battery, the battery connections, and starter relay, all are perfect. If I jump across the starter relay at the battery wire connections it will start and then die when I remove the jumper. If you have any ideas I would greatly appreciate them.

Look at this starter relay close, there is a fuse under a black plastic cover, check this fuse for being burnt. Next check the kick stand safety switch, make sure it is in the bracket, tight no loose wires. Next is the clutch safety switch. And last is a neutral safety switch. Here is a manual for you to download. Hope this helps Fix Ya. up. >>>Hondamanual

The Starter switch , when in the off position provides a path for the headlight to burn. When the starter button is pressed the headlight is disconnected from the circuit so the battery is not unduly drained during start attempts.

Have you checked the kill switch. It can be easy to knock this accidentally.

I have a 03 Honda spirit 750 --was riding yesterday when it started spiting/sputtering like it was out of fuel, I checked fuel(half tank) I put another gallon in just to be sure but no luck. Also tried...

Drain the carbs. Water condensation in the gas tank makes it's way into the carb float bowl. After a while the water builds up enough to replace gas in the carbs. Bikes don't run well on water. If that doesn't work at least no money has been spent. Next, stick in fresh spark plugs and be sure the air filter is clean.

I have a 2003 honda shadow 750... problem is every time i start the bike it will only run with choke even when its warmed up and when i ride the pipes back fire like crazy... it just hasn't been...

THose symptoms are those of a bike with clogged / gummed up carbs. At this point you will need to remove the carbs, completely disassemble them, and soak the bodies in a quality carb cleaning solution, overnight.

Hello so this morning I stopped for gas after a couple miles, turned the key, everything seemed powered, push the starter - all power is gone. Seems like there could be a short in the starter switch?...

The battery may have developed a dead cell.
Try jumping the battery and see if it starts.
If it does, at least one cell in the battery is shot. or the system isn't charging the battery.
Try charging the battery with a plug in charger, and see if it'll start after that.
If it does, ride it a while (but not far, or you may wind up pushing it a long way home)
If the battery is having a harder time starting the bike or won't start it after riding a while, there's something amiss with the charging circuit on the bike.

Alternately if you have a volt meter, check the battery before and after starting the bike. The voltage should be higher than it was originally after starting. If it's not, there's something wrong with the charging circuit.
If it IS higher, but drops significantly after riding, it's the battery, and it'll need to be replaced.

Wont start .it is something to do with the stand

If the bike has the side stand down and the clutch is released, the ignition is cut for safety. It stops riding away with the side stand down.

I was riding my bike died oil light came on i put oil in lights still on and bike still wont start its a honda shadow 750

Oil light does not mean that you don't have oil inside. It means that there is NO pressure in the oil circuit. You should check your oil pump and hope it did not ruin your engine from lack of oil underneath the pistons.Measure the compression too.
